With Skype for Windows Phone you can chat via voice, video or text message with other Skype users.
The function of the app is the same as other versions, but the interface follows the Windows Phone 7.5 look. Once you sign in, your Skype contacts are displayed as a list and you can swipe to see different lists. Skype’s contact list integration is the same as the contacts list so the default settings are easily deciphered.
Calls in Skype for Windows Phone can be made over 3G and Wi-Fi. If you have Skype Credit, you can call landlines and mobile phones like the other versions. There are not any new features in this version and it has the same options as other devices.
Skype is very easy to use, though it's not the most polished VoIP app around. Video quality isn't amazing, and the app has a tendency to drain battery.
Skype is a VoIP app for Windows Phone that is a must-have if you're a regular user of the service.

Microsoft (Owns Skype) have not poured the funds into updating the APP for Windows devices. The Android version is far better.
- Basic version - At least we have something.
- Not able to delete history. This APP needs work.
- Very few options and will not run in background.
- So if you check your mail you are logged out of skype.
